If you are a full-time student with a financial aid refund of $500 or higher, $500 of that refund will be transferred automatically to an RU Book Advance account. You can use the money in this account at Barnes and Noble Rutgers University-Newark bookstore .
Important Notes for the Book Advance Program
- If your financial aid refund is less than $500, you will not be automatically enrolled in the RU Book Advance program.
- PLUS loan funds are not eligible for the RU Book Advance program.
- You can opt out of the RU Book Advance at any time online.
