Rutgers University-Newark will be expanding our new RU-N Rising re-enrollment program for September 2023. The program has been updated to include residents from the following NJ counties: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic & Union. Rutgers University-Newark, an anchor institution in the City of Newark, is dedicated to assisting students to completing their first undergraduate degree. RUN Rising is designed to support residents in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, and Warren who have earned at least 60 credits at Rutgers University-Newark and may have had to stop attending the university and continue to have an outstanding balance from prior semesters of attendance. RUN Rising is designed to help students return to Rutgers-Newark to complete their degree while forming an academic and financial aid support structure to assist students as they complete their academic journey.
