What we do 

The Career Resources & Exploration at Rutgers University-Newark is a central resource that empowers undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni by teaching them skills and facilitating connections to fuel their career success. 

How we can support 

• We help connect Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, Alumni, Campus Partners, Employers/Recruiters, and Families.  
• Resources in our office include information on The COVID-19 Job Search, Majors and Careers, Resumes and Cover Letters, Experiential Opportunities, Interviewing, Jobs and Internships, Detecting Fraudulent Job Postings, Graduate and Professional School, Personal Statements, and Making Connections.  
• One of the choices you’ll need to make in your career is deciding where you want to work. We have community pages focused on industries can help you explore different types of organizations, job roles, and other information that can help you identify what matches with your personal and professional goals. 
• Your personal identities can have an impact on your career, depending on how important those identities are to you and how you want them to reflect in your professional life. The community pages focused on specific populations/identities can help you reflect on your own self, or learn about others.
