Registration Period for Fall 2026

Continuing undergraduate students of Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N) are encouraged to seek advising prior to Fall 2026 registration.  Students are assigned registration dates and times each semester according to their degree credits earned (excluding credits in progress).  You are advised to meet with the Office of Academic Advisement & Student Services to determine your calendar, review your schedule of classes, and prepare for online registration on your designated date (see table below).

The undergraduate Offices of Academic Advising will be reaching out to students to schedule academic planning meetings. Students can also access their advisor through the Navigate Student App. Undergraduate students are assigned registration dates and times each semester according to their degree credits earned (excluding credits in progress).

Fall 2026 Online Schedule of Courses will be available on Monday, March 30, 2026. 

• Undergraduate students are assigned registration dates and times each semester according to their degree credits earned. In general, students who are closest to graduation are provided earlier registration times (see table below).
• Law School students should access the Law School website for class schedule and registration details.

NOTE: "Degree credits" are credits already earned toward graduation; they do not include credits for courses currently in progress.
