Dining, Housing and Parking refunds for most students will be issued starting April 17, 2020 through the week after.

All refunds are prorated based on the time remaining with the service/contract for Spring 2020.

We are strongly encouraging all students to set up direct deposit

  • Direct deposits should be seen within 72 hours.
  • Checks will take much longer - up to 7-10 days.

Student Accounting, Billing and Cashier Service

Dining:

  • Students who vacated campus due to COVID 19 will be refunded their meal plan from Monday, March 23 (52 remaining days per the Spring 2020 meal plan program).
  • Students who were approved by housing  office to stay in campus housing before vacating at a later date due to COVID 19 will be refunded per the days left on their account after leaving their residence hall. The refund will be issued starting April 17, 2020 through the week after.
  • Students who were approved by housing to stay in campus housing until the end of the spring semester will not be refunded for their meal plan.
  • Dining refunds will be credited toward the Spring 2020 term bill. If the student has an outstanding balance on the term bill related to tuition and fees, the dining refund will be applied to this outstanding balance.  
  • If a student does not have an outstanding term bill balance for Spring 2020, the refund will be issued back to the student.

Housing:

  • Students with an academic year contract (September-May) who vacated campus due to COVID 19 will be refunded their spring housing costs from Monday, March 23-May 16, 2020. 
  • Housing refunds will be credited toward the Spring 2020 term bill. If the student has an outstanding balance on the term bill related to tuition and fees, the housing refund will be applied to this outstanding balance. If a student does not have an outstanding term bill balance for Spring 2020, the refund will be issued back to the student. The refund will be issued starting April 17, 2020 through the week after.
  • Students with a calendar year (August-July) contract and who have officially vacated housing with the approval of the housing office will receive a refund based on day the residence hall was vacated.
  • Students with a calendar year (August-July) contract and still residing in housing will not be refunded at this time.

Parking:

  • Parking refunds will be credited toward the Spring 2020 term bill. If the student has an outstanding balance on the term bill related to tuition and fees, the parking refund will be applied to this outstanding balance.  
  • If a student does not have an outstanding term bill balance for Spring 2020, the refund will be issued back to the student.
  • Students will continue to be responsible for any outstanding parking citations related to the parking account.
