Dear Rutgers University – Newark graduating students,
I write to update you about the Rutgers- and Rutgers-Newark-wide committees that have begun meeting to plan ways to celebrate your graduation milestones. While it is still too early to determine when we will be able to hold an in-person celebration for Rutgers-Newark, our committee is working from the premise that we will be able to hold such an event at some point, after public health officials deem it safe to do so and we can make arrangements with an appropriate venue. With conditions still too uncertain to allow us to speculate on a date, the committee also is planning ways to celebrate you in the coming weeks, after the end of the spring semester, as well. We will provide another update on these plans as soon as we can.
Regalia (Cap & Gown) Update
For Returns & Refunds
Students who are seeking to return their regalia and receieve a refund can contact Oak Hall for assistance by calling 1-800-456-7623 as refunds are not issued at the bookstore.
For Purchasing
Students can still order commencement regalia. The regalia will be sent to their homes. Students can order their regalia online until April 30, 2020 at https://rutgersnewark.shopoakhalli.com/
