School of Arts & Sciences - Newark (NCAS and UCN) 

Within the School of Arts & Sciences-Newark, the Newark College of Arts and Sciences (NCAS) and University College–Newark (UCN) are the heart of our campus—the place where exploration, discovery, and imagination come together to form the core of a liberal arts education.

We serve all the undergraduate colleges at Rutgers–Newark by offering 2,000 courses a year in more than 40 subjects, a rigorous Honors College, revolutionary Honors Learning-Living Community, and countless research and independent study opportunities working with and learning from internationally renowned faculty on the cutting edge of research in both the arts and the sciences.

Rutgers Business School (RBS) 

Rutgers Univeristy - Newark is an intimate urban campus in the heart of a growing city and next door to the financial capital of the world. The Newark campus is known for its tight-knit community with an international flavor. The undergraduate programs at Rutgers Business School are intended to equip you with the skills you need to enter the work force as a professional and deal ethically and effectively with the variety of complex problems that arise in business. Not only that, a bachelor’s degree from RBS also prepares you for post-graduate study in business, law, and other disciplines if you choose to pursue further education beyond your undergraduate degree.

School of Criminal Justice (SCJ) 

Rutgers School of Criminal Justice was founded almost fifty years ago, and ever since we opened our doors, we have been recognized as among the leading programs in the field. Over the years, our faculty have made significant contributions to criminal justice policy and criminological theory, and our graduates have taken their places among the most productive and well-respected scholars in the field. Today, studies show that we continue to rank among the top criminal justice programs nationwide, with special regard for our graduate programs.

School of Public Affairs & Administration (SPAA) 

The School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) at Rutgers University-Newark educates and motivates students to choose careers in public service and administration through its innovative and comprehensive undergraduate and graduate degrees and professional and graduate certificate programs. Rutgers SPAA’s faculty generates knowledge and best practices in public affairs and administration, and collaborates with public and nonprofit organizations and professionals throughout the U.S. and the world.
