Rutgers University- Newark students who have been impacted by the current government shutdown may request to extend the deadline to pay their term bill.
To request an extension, please email myrun@newark.rutgers.edu and include your name, school of enrollment, and your 9-digit RU ID number. Students should provide a copy of their Government issued ID or any verifiable documents.
Students who have student loans are encouraged to reach out to their student loan providers to discuss the impact of the current furlough.
