Visiting (Non-Rutgers) Students
Visiting students that want to experience a Rutgers Winter Session do not need to go through Admissions in order to attend Winter Session. Visiting students can submit a registration inquiry on the Summer & Winter Sessions Application Portal. If you are new to Rutgers, please click Get Started to create an account within the portal. Once your account is created, please complete and submit the Winter Session 2019 Visiting Student Registration Form (VSRF). In 2-3 business days, students will receive an email with registration instructions.
Transfer students admitted for Spring 2019 must submit a Visiting Student Registration Form (VSRF) through the Summer & Winter Sessions Application Portal in order to register for Winter Session 2019.

High School Students
Academically qualified high school students can submit an application to take a Winter Session at Rutgers University in Newark. High school students completing grades 9, 10, or 11 by June 2019 can complete and submit a High School Student Application in the Summer & Winter Sessions Application Portal. Students new to Rutgers must click Get Started to create an account within the portal. Once your account is created, please complete the High School Student Application. Please upload a copy of your high school transcript and/or letter of recommendation from a guidance counselor, instructor, advisor, or faculty member.
